Tapper is mainly reserved for special community events.
Our Education & Outreach team also brings Tapper along for some school visits when teaching our lesson “Tapper’s Big Adventure: Where’s the Water?”, which centers around our children’s book of the same name. As the Louisville Water educator reads the book to your class, students will learn about community water uses. The program ends with a surprise Tapper visit, and he “autographs” a copy of his book to add to the school’s library collection. This lesson is geared towards pre-K through 2nd grade and is presented to one grade level at time.
