Can I make a request to paint a nearby fire hydrant?

Louisville Water is making a long-term investment in maintaining the appearance and functionality of fire hydrants across our service area. As part of this effort, we’ve launched a project to paint every hydrant by the year 2030.

Multiple contractors are working throughout the community, and once the initial painting is complete, hydrants will be placed on a 10-year repainting cycle.

While we’re unable to provide a specific timeframe for when an individual hydrant will be painted, please know it is included in our overall project plan. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to enhance our system.
