How do I set up unplanned usage alerts in Pure Connect℠?

Unplanned use notifications are a great tool for spotting unexpected spikes that may indicate a leak or running fixtures during a set period like a planned vacation. With this alert, you will receive an email or text notification if a certain number of gallons is used while you're away. Here's how you can set the alerts up in your account.

1. Log in to Pure Connect and hover over the "Overview Tab". 

2. Select "Edit Profile".

3. Select "Notifications" on the left-hand side. You can also get to this page by selecting "Notifications" under the Quick Links section on the Overview page.

4. Next to "Unplanned Use Notifications," select "Add Email" or "Add Phone," depending on what type of notification you'd like to receive.

5. Type in your preferred email address or phone number.

6. Enter the number of gallons for which you'd like to receive a notification.

7. Select the start and end dates that you'd like these notifications to remain active.

8. Press "Save Configuration" and you should see the setting listed next to Unplanned Use Notifications.

9. If you entered a new email address or phone number, you'll be asked to enter a verification code.
