Why is my monthly bill due date changing?

As part of our Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) project, which began in 2020, Louisville Water is moving customers from bi-monthly to monthly billing. 
As we make the transition to monthly billing, some months may include more water consumption days billed than others. Meaning, it won’t always be a perfect 30-day month. You can see the number of days billed on the back page of your bill; your bill is based on a daily service fee and consumption.
